Today's Epiphany - Spirtual Stuff and Junk

First thing first, I hope you fully enjoyed the picture above. Anywho, while wrestling with some unsettling events and thoughts that I shant bore you with, I realized something. Now, at first all of the following "us" and "we" used to be "me" and "I". But then I realize how this applies to everyone. I really hope those who have some unhappiness in their life will read this and find some type of help from my words.

God made us who we are for a reason. There is a vast difference between who we want to be, and who we are meant to be. We easily get them confused. Say I loved to bake, and I wanted to be a famous pastry chef. But I also have a gift for sewing. The road God has set aside for me might be the one sewn on fabric with buttons scattered on it. But due to my strong love for baking, I think I am destined to be a pastry chef and I constantly take the detour decorated with icing and sprinkles. Yes I will have my successes, but I may find more failures. And sewing keeps popping up. I need to sew my uniform up. I keep getting constant orders about fashion/clothing themed cakes. I have to make all of my clothes. Sometimes it blatantly obvious when we need to hop off one train and get on the correct one. But we try to change out fate, we try to change God's plan. We may be unhappy that we can't be what we wanted, we can't be what we had planned. Have you ever considered that there is a reason we aren't all skinny? Or tall? Or able to hit a high C? My dearest teacher Mrs. Tammy says that we all have a gift. There is no such thing as talent. We were created to do something specific, and when the time comes for us to use this gift, we are going to blow the world away. I agree. I understand I don't have the open personality like most. That my sense of humor can be crude. That I am quieter than others, but maybe it is vital that I am like this. I find myself constantly trying to turn myself the opposite direction so I can fit in better. I feel a tad bit misshapen, like I need to chisel away a few details before I can fit in like I want. But obviously I just need to hop on over to the next train. I know I'm close to finding that perfect spot, I just need to keep moving along the path God created for me rather than adjusting myself so I can feel better. So I can seem prettier or more likeable. Think of it this way, when you do reach that perfect place for yourself, you still won't be able to fit. You got rid of so much of yourself that now the placement is too big and you can't reach the bar. As cliche as it is, never change yourself. Let God's will take control. He will always put you exactly where you need to be. Even when it seems like He just tossed you away; He put you in that awful position for some crucial reason. And as soon as your task has been completed, He'll move you on to the next step - leading you to the top of the mountain.

Now...I just have to actually TAKE this advice because I am guaranteed to go through the same trials that I went through all day today. I know it. And if not tomorrow, the day after that.

That tis all... enjoy this too:

No lie, if I knew I could pull it off w/o looking ugly and w/o my hair falling out, I'd do this.

iloveyouall. Oh. I wanted to go to Hang Out Fest with some friends. But I can't. Because its too expensive and sold out. :( So if you have a ticket, I strongly dislike you. Listen to these songs:

Sail by AWOLNATION

Young Blood by The Naked and Famous

We Are Young by fun. Feat Janelle

Summer Angel by Minus the Bear

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST

You Ain't Alone by Alabama Shakes

Summer Bands

Hello, Lovelies! So I feel the need to let you know that still no camera :( CURSE YOU PERSON THAT STOLE MY CAMERA!!! --not seriously, but still. I'm pissed. But anywho...it's spring! Is it me, or does it feel tad bit more like summer? Either way it's nice and warm out, and we still have that beautiful breeze! My second favorite time of the year!
.....
But as I said before, it seems a tad bit more like summer at times. Maybe it's just this good 'ole Missippi weathuh --> I meant to misspell :3 --> But due to this, I've begun thinking about my summer bands! You know, those bands that just scream "Summer is here! Relax! Have fun! Dance!" Here is a little mini list I've have had on my playlist lately! It is bands and songs:

 We The Kings

1) I put them first because they are like, my ultimate summer band! Their beats
are just happy and playful in most songs. It is also partially because I
first heard them with "Check Yes Juliet" in the summertime. :3

 All Time Low

2) First of all, I'm in a committed relationship with Alex. Girlies stay away, please!
But anywho, they are another band that I heard in the summer, so it is
a key reason of why they are on this list. But though they do have some
slower songs, there are a good amount of fast paced, happy, party songs.
I love dancing around my room in me undies while blaring them!
I first started with "Remembering Sunday." It's slow, but still<3

 1901 by Phoenix

 3) It is such a great little song! I listen to it year round, but it makes me
think of those fun, late summer nights with friends!

 The Unicorns

4) Ah, another cool band! One of my ex-best friends introduce me to them.
She figured I'd like them because of my love for unicorns..and she was right!
I love that 60's rock feel of their music. It's good sway music(:
Mayday Parade

5) Ok, they are probably on here because I am in love with them. They're music
is good for any time of the year in my opinion. Therefore, they are automatically
a summer band. Along with a spring, fall, and winter band! Great lyrics, great
beats, and just all around awesome! Enjoy!

Well this was a mini list. When summer rolls around I'll put up more good bands and songs to have some fun to! So that's all! I'm off to watching America's Next Top Model reruns. Have a great rest of the day, Loves<3

What I've Been Up To

Hello Lovelies! So, here is a little list of what I've been doing over the past week or two:

1) Constantly listening to The Smiths, Death Cab for Cutie, and 1901 by Phoenix -- I freaked when I realized it was the song from that car commercial a few years ago. I really wanted that song.

2) Going Deco-Den crazy. These are my first two projects:

3) Going glitter crazy
-----I got some free denim Toms. I took a BIG risk on them. I've always wanted glitter shoes(:

4) Constantly typing papers for class.

5) Going insane over my senior piece - it's about depression now. I'm pretty sure our show will cause people to want to cry and injure themselves.

6) Constantly listening to Sufjan Stevens also..."Vesuvius

7) Missing my kitty Pookie. She died this week :(

8) Torturing/annoying my other kitty babies(:

9) Reading like a turtle! In just the last 3 weeks I've only gotten to 4 books :( But here they are (I only remembered to take a picture of one..the others are from websites!)

I just started Why We Broke Up and so far it's really cute. The other three..oh my. Such wonderful reading. So much wonderful-ness. If only my schedule would clear so I read more.

10) Adoring music during my off time. I bought some of those wooden earphones - great in my opinion. And made these:

 Cute, huh?(:

11) Taking a modern dance class.

12) Planning on working out

13) Got a give-a-way: xxMmmSoupxx

14) Broke my phone

15) Get a new one today

16) Broke my fridge..

17) Get a new one today...

18) GET TO SEE MY MOMMY!!! --- in about two mo' hours.

19) Added two new things to the shop and soon some more!

Tis all, Beautifuls!

Childhood Dreams

Lately, I've really been stuck in my childhood! From the memories of playing Super Mario with my brother and sister to all of the silly songs I was in love with! I miss those times, even if I was quiet and had no friends besides my siblings. I was never upset unless I didn't get that new Barbie and even then I would get over it after an hour or so! Ah, being a child was awesome. I had the right idea when I would run around and yell "I AM NEVER GETTING OLDER!!!!" Yup, I was a pretty smart kid! Do any of you guys remember this song? I've been singing it constantly for almost a week now!:

LYRICS

It took too long, it took too long
It took to long for you to call back
And normally I would just forget that
Except for the fact it was my birthday
My stupid birthday

I played along, I played along
I played along, it rolled right off my back
But obviously my armor was cracked
What kind of boyfriend would forget that?
Who would forget that?

The type of guy who doesn't see
What he has until she leaves
Don't let me go
'Cause without me you know you're lost
Wise up now or pay the cost'
So you will know

You're not livin' till you're livin'
Livin' with me
You're not winnin' till you're winnin'
Winnin' me
You're not gettin' till you're gettin'
Gettin'to me
You're not livin' till you're livin'
Livin' for me

This is the potential breakup song
Our album needs just one
Oh baby please, please tell me

We got along, we got along
We got along until you did that
Now all I want is just my stuff back
Do you get that?
Let me repeat that, I want my stuff back

You can send it in a box
I don't care just drop it off
I won't be home!
'Cause without me you know you're lost
Minus you I'm better off
Soon you will know!...

You're not livin' till you're livin'
Livin' with me
You're not winnin' till you're winnin'
W-w-w-winnin' me-e-e

You're not gettin' till you're gettin'
Gettin'to me-e-e
You're not livin' till you're livin'
Livin' for me...

You can try, you can try
You know I know it'd be a lie
Without me you're gonna cry
So you better think clearly, clearly
Before you nearly, nearly
Mess up the situation
That your gonna miss dearly, dearly, c'mon

You're not livin' till you're livin'
Livin' with me
You're not winnin' till you're winnin'
W-w-w-winnin' me

You're not gettin' till you're gettin'
Gettin'to me
You're not livin' till you're livin'
Livin' for me

This is the potential breakup song
Our album needs just one
Oh baby, please, please tell me

This is the potential makeup song
Please just admit you're wrong
Which will it be? Which will it be? la la la la la la
la la la la la la la la la la la la la la

Kreayshawn Love

There is something about this chick that I love, but hate. I definitely love her music. It has the same effect on me as Bo Burnham. It's a happy medicine whenever I need to smile! And her style does the same also. I love how bold she is! And her vulgarity(: She's definitely unique. But there is something that makes me hate her, and honestly I can't put my finger on it. I find her (and please no one kill me for thinking this) cliche in a way. Overdone. But I still support her, no matter what she's doing! How do you all feel about her?
